ABOUT THE ROLE

UNITY™ Tactical is seeking a talented and motivated dealer and OEM administrator who wants to employ his/her skills to manage daily relations with and order entry for our dealer network and OEM customers. Reporting directly to the director of operations, the dealer and OEM administrator will also work closely with the entire business development team to prioritize customer orders and evaluate new dealer applications. This role requires a combination of analytical, operational and interpersonal skills. This person must have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to delivering a seamless consumer experience, and the ability to work cross functionally with other departments to maximize outcomes and drive company success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the UNITY Tactical global dealer/distributor network.
  • Receive and input purchase orders to the ERP system, including those received from dealers, OEM partners and/or internal teams.
  • Work with the director of operations to prioritize orders and determine lead times.
  • Acknowledge order receipt and communicate lead times with dealers.
  • Work with accounts receivable to ensure on-time payment from dealers.
  • Evaluate new dealer applications and manage onboarding process, including all necessary contracts and documentation. Possible travel to dealer facilities when necessary.
  • Create quarterly reports on dealer and OEM performance.
  • Manage annual/ongoing dealer evaluation and scorecard system, removing any dealers from the network who do not meet annual requirements.
  • Manage dealer contact list and work with marketing as needed to make updates.
  • Facilitate any requests made by the dealer network, such as coordinating with marketing for resources, etc.
  • Occasionally assist accounting with data entry and analysis as needed.
  • Represent UNITY at industry trade shows as needed.
  • Develop deep knowledge and understanding of the UNITY Tactical brand, its business operations, products and customer-base.
  • Constant and effective communication with external customers, partners and internal team members.
  • Project management.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in a business admin or inside sales role. Defense industry experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and eye for detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners in a professional manner.
  • Ability to initiate and lead projects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • Resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently.
  • Eagerness to learn and accept challenges.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in Zoho a plus.
  • Ability to relocate and/or commute daily to Broussard, LA 70518.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all HR processes and responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and compliance.
  • Oversee payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, administration and communication.
  • Administer employee health plans and resolve benefits-related issues.
  • Recruit, interview and hire new staff. Draft job descriptions and determine salary benchmarks.
  • Manage the new hire training and onboarding process.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits and other HR programs.
  • Maintain the employee handbook.
  • Manage annual performance review process, working with executive leadership team.
  • Manage conflict resolution as needed.
  • Assist with processing terminations when needed.
  • Implement, maintain and review payroll processing systems.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
  • Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files.
  • Create and maintain all employee files.
  • Manage employee incident process.
  • Assist with labor reports as needed.
  • Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and drive change management efforts.
  • Develop deep knowledge and understanding of the UNITY Tactical brand and culture, its business operations, products and customer-base.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of experience in an HR and benefits management role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and eye for detail.
  • Ability to initiate and lead projects.
